Sketchbook progress…

Plugging away. Pages I did today. Playing around with collage. Working on some pages and the last page as well. Started stitching cover to tie it all in.Asha, my eldest cat, waits for me to move my scanner so she can hunt the curious moths flitting by the window. “There’s Winston Churchill dressed in drag,
he used to be a British flag, plastic bag, what a drag.
The frog was a prince, the prince was a brick, the brick was an egg,
the egg was a bird.
(Fly away you sweet little thing, they’re hard on your tail)
Hadn’t you heard?
(They’re going to change you into a human being!)
Yahoo, we’re happy as fish and gorgeous as geese,
and wonderfully clean in the morning.” – “Willow Farm” from Supper’s Ready, Genesis

The heat is now on, my hands are still ice cold, and I’ve been fighting a cold. However, tomorrow I go out for a leisurely run. So looking forward to it.

“Other arms reach out to me
Other eyes smile tenderly
Still in peaceful dreams I see
The road leads back to you, yeah” – Georgia on my mind, Ray Charles
