“The Moose are stampeding forward to their tenth annual chapbook release. On July 19th, 2013, all are welcome to join us on the top floor of Elm Street’s prestigious Arts & Letters Club for an evening of fun, frivolity & free snacks.
We’ve settled on “Moose in Wonderland” as our theme for this year. If you’re looking to take a souvenir copy home to relive the night with your family and friends, they will be available for a nominal contribution (good literature at rock bottom prices!).
It should be noted that we’ve always been pleased with the rambunctious audiences at our launches, beginning in 2004 with Moosecall #1: Mating in the Bleak City/Romance in the Urban Wilderness. Reviewed in issue 26 of Broken Pencil, Dooney’s Cafe has a mostly intentionally amusing write-up of the event.”
I am indebted to my writer’s group for helping me shape my writing, be critical of it, and for supporting me these past few years. Come on out and have some fun with us.
